The Milford Track and Field teams completed at the Division II State Meet Saturday at Londonderry High School. Overall, boys finished in 6th place while the girls team finished in 9th. Ethan Morin won the high jump and Matt Pettingell, Josh Pettingell, Ethan Morin and Ky-Mani Velez-Boggis won the 4x100m relay. Zoe Rick earned second in the Shot Put and 4th in the Discus, Rylee Coates placed 3rd in the 400m and 6th in the 200m. Josh Pettingell placed 4th in both the 100m and 200m. Grant Skorupan placed 4th in the 1600m and Chase Paiva earned 6th place in the Javelin. Also qualifying for the State meet were freshmen Harlie Card, Eva Grochala, Jada Jones, Olivia Hyde, Carter Macias, Bhavya Patel, Rachel Sixon, and Peyton Tessier, Sophomores Josh Coates, Landon Jacquet and Iris Lemaire, and Seniors Josiah Cheries and Colin Kirby.

The Girls Lacrosse team kept their play-off hopes hopes alive with a 6-5 win over Alvirne on Friday night. The JV Baseball Team hosted Coe Brown and beat the Bears 7-4 at Keyes Field. The Varsity Teams traveled to Coe Brown and both teams fell to the Bears. The Baseball team got a great pitching performance from Marek Luba but fell 2-1. The Boys Lacrosse team travelled to Lebanon and lost to the Raiders 11-6. Rocco Bartling had 22 saves for Milford while Dylan MacLeod and Bentley Bowers had two goals, Lukas Mangum and Tiegen Barb had one goal each and Lincoln St. Jean had an assist. The Girls Lacrosse Team is this week's team of the week going 2-1 on the week with a 7-6 win over Concord Christian and a 6-5 win over Alvirne to keep their play-off hopes alive.

Congratulations to the JV Boys Lacrosse Team on a 1-0 win over ConVal yesterday afternoon.The Varsity boys came up short in their game vs the Cougars. Rocco Bartling had 9 saves and Bentley Bowers had the lone goal while Josh Clark picked up the assist. The Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team jumped out to a 6-2 over Concord Christian at the half, but Concord Christian scored 4 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to tie it at 6. Violet Renda had some phenomenal saves in the 4th quarter allowing Kaelyn Grzyb to score the game winner with just over a minute to go in the game, and then held the ball for about the last minute to seal the victory. The softball team went into a thunder delay down 11-9 in the bottom of the 7th inning and came back to beat Laconia 12-11. Mya Coombs hit a line drive off the second baseman's glove to drive home the winning run for the walk off win. Alivia Mazzeo had 3 hits and two RBI's to lead the offense. Nadia Dutton had 2 hits and two RBI's. Alivia Mazzeo went the distance on the mound striking out 3 and not giving up an earned run. In other action, the Girls Lacrosse teams travelled to Gilford yesterday afternoon and fell to the Eagles. The JV team was shut down and the Varsity team even the score at 4 in the second half, but Gilford had already done too much damage in the first half. The Softball team travelled to Lebanon on Saturday and held the Raiders in check going to the 7th inning with a 6-6 score, however Milfor was unable to string together any hits in the 7th and Lebanon beat the Spartans 7-6. Teagan Goldstein led the offense with 2 hits, including a triple and 2 rbi's, Nadia Dutton had 2 rbi's and a hit. Natalie Naun was able to draw 2 walks and scored a run.Alivia Mazzeo pitched a gem striking out 3 The Baseball Team broke open a 3-3 tie in the top of the 8th inning scoring 3 runs to win it 6-3. Gabe St. Onge had 3 hits on the day and 3 runs batted in to lead the Milford offensive attack. Ben Richardson also chipped in with 2. Marek Luba got the win in relief of Jack Bonafelia and Ben Richardson, who kept the Raiders in check throughout the day. The Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team beat ConVal yesterday afternoon 6-5 to keep their play-off hopes alive. The JV and Varsity Boys Lacrosse Teams lost to top teams Bow yesterday afternoon. In the Varsity Game, Joshua Clark scored on an assist by Chris Bozza. The JV and Varsity Baseball Teams beat Pembroke yesterday afternoon. The JV team won 10-4 and the Varsity Team won 7-6. Connor Mills pitched 4 innings of one hit relief allowing only one run and he struck out 8 batters. Max Cote had a hit, 2 RBI's and 2 stolen bases while Luke Stats had two hits on the day. Today Alivia Mazzeo achieved her 200th career strikeout, however the team was unable to pick up the win in a loss to Oyster River. Mya Coombs, Haley Harrington and Teagan Goldstein each had a hit for Milford, while Mya, Nadia Dutton and Lillian Webster picked up an RBI. The Baseball team strung together the most hits on the season but were unable to beat the Bobcats in a 16-7 game. Gabe St. Onge had 3 hits, while Ethan Szopa, Jacob Hill and Marek Luba each had 2 for Milford. The JV team traveled to Oyster River for their game and lost in a high scoring affair 12-10. Nine players each had a hit to pace Milford while Luke Statz drove in three runs and Max Cote stole 3 of the Milford 6 stolen bases on the day.
